- Description
This is the artwork of “Squid And Clam” by Getsujō Mori that uses bold margins. It is a secret art transmitted directly from Seihō Takeuchi, his master, that accurately captures and expresses the characteristics of the subject with a small number of brush strokes. Even with a small number of brushes, the freshness of the squid and the clams can be felt. The mounting fabric with the pattern of waves is used for this kakejiku (Japanese hanging scroll), adding depth of flavor to his artwork.
