Order for Nichiren Odaimoku Kakejiku HangingScroll
The Dai Mandala is a central image used in various sects of Nichiren Buddhism, featuring inscriptions of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Shaka’s disciples, and deities from India, China, and Japan in Chinese and Sanskrit characters. This type of mandala, which visually represents the world of the Lotus Sutra, is one of the key objects of worship in these sects.
Our company receives inquiries for creating these kakejiku (hanging scrolls) from around the world.
Recently, we received a new commission from a previous South African customer. This new order required a change in dimensions compared to the previous kakejiku we produced for him.
We received the data for printing from the customer and used specialized Japanese paper to create the kakejiku.
Here is the completed kakejiku, finished with authentic Buddhist hanging scroll specifications.
Our customer was very pleased with the finished product.
