Formats of the Kakejiku

The Jikusou Style
The mounting of a calligraphic work or painting in a “kakejiku” (hanging scroll) is most commonly called “jikusou.” There are several styles of jikusou. For example, a yamato-style mounting is a style introduced from China and stylized in Japan. Literati mounting is originally a Chinese style.
