- Description
In this work, Japanese-style painter Hiramatsu Jun drew a clematis that blooms bluish-purple flowers while entwining vines with a pillar arranged diagonally from the lower right to the upper left of the screen. The lightly colored flowers and the leaves drawn with sumi ink create an exquisite calmness on the painting, making the work elegant. From the appearance of the wide-open flowers and the depiction of the vines extending in various directions, you can feel the powerful vitality of the clematis, and it seems as if it is enjoying the beginning of summer.
